  • in 1996 delivered two papers on the effect of drugs upon the family at the International Harm Minimisation Conference at Wrest Point Casino; 
  • in 1996 keynote speaker at the Tasmanian Neo Natal Conference concerning drug-addicted mothers; 
  • in July 2007, delivered a paper at the Drug Summit in Western. Australia. 
  • has also made several high profile submissions to government, including a submission for CWLA to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Substance abuse in Australian Communities, 2000  which can be viewed on the website for House of Representatives standing committee on Family and Community Affairs at www.aph.gov.au/house/committee/fca: and also appeared before the House of Representative’s Committee.
